Kidz Cabin Concert 2017: Let the show begin!

Part 2

After the long wait (for most parents, but not for us because we came in late, remember?) the emcee finally came out from the back stage. And the emcee for the year 2017 was Pn Bellina Rosli a.k.a. Bell. Audience was greeted. And du'a was recited by En Kamal Dzulkhairis. Ameen. Next, opening speech by Principal Datin Zarida Kamal. The speech was brief but deep in meaning.

After the speech by Datin Zarida, and after introducing the teachers of Kidz Cabin, audience was asked to stand up and sing the National anthem - Negaraku. Everybody sang. Full of zeal and zest. Full of spirit of nationalism. The auditorium vibrated. At the scale of 6 Richter. Fortunately, nothing fell from the ceilings or the walls. A group of children form various cabins become the flag bearers.

And without further ado, Bell, the emcee presented the performance by the Purple Cabin Gym - Princess Dreams Come True. The girls danced so beautifully and in perfect harmony with the song. Parents gave them a super big hand. The hands were so big that they couldn't fit the auditorium.

The second performance was from the children of Yellow Cabin. They danced to the song of Shine Your Way (from the movie Dawn of the Croods, and song sung by Owl City and Yuna). Sabriena was also on stage performing. But I couldn't see her that clearly because she was at the back and was on the other end of the stage. I've seen her practised many time at home though. Sabriena seemed so enthusiastic and could not wait to show off her dancing skill.

The next performance was from the children of Blue Cabin. Six cute adorable little children dressed up in animal costumes showed their moves to the song of Bare Necessities (from the movie Jungle Book). And I guess the one who got the most attention was Little Suraaya who dressed up as a scarlet macaw.
